Andover School of Montessori is seeking a Lower Elementary Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves working in a mixed-grade classroom covering grades one through three, providing crucial support to the lead teacher. Qualified candidates for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree, previous teaching experience, and a strong commitment to nurturing the potential of elementary children. While Montessori certification is preferred, it is not required. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for project-based learning and the ability to offer various learning modalities to students. Proficiency in language literacy instruction and possession of Wilson Fundations Certification are desirable qualities. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, preparing materials, supervising students, and providing support during lessons and activities.
