Children's House Teacher/Assistant

Hilltop Montessori School | Brattleboro, VT, United States

Posted Date 1/21/2021

Hilltop Montessori School, founded in 1972, is an independent Montessori school perched on a 43 acre hill in Brattleboro. The school has grown over the past 48 years from one classroom for 3-6 year olds, to an established school with authentic Montessori programs for Toddlers through Middle School, educating 130 economically diverse students and employing 35 staff. The school relocated several years ago to a custom-built facility that houses two bright, sunny Children's House classrooms, a Toddler Room and the elementary (6-12) classrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen area, art, music, and shop rooms. The middle school enjoys its own house with comparable facilities. There is integrated computer use at the elementary and middle school levels, woods and trails for hiking and cross country skiing, gardens, a greenhouse and a pond. An Arts Barn with a gymnasium, theater, music room, and staff kitchen was completed in 2014.

Hilltop Montessori School is seeking a nurturing, experienced, and enthusiastic Montessori certified teacher to teach in an established Children's House classroom.
