Cedar River Montessori School, on the outskirts of Seattle, WA, is looking for a Middle School teacher specializing in social studies as well as social and environmental justice to start fall 2020. The ideal candidate will have a deep love and appreciation for early adolescents in all their glory. They will also be interested in the long-term, growing the program with the current co-teacher. There are also many opportunities for collaboration with the other classes in the school and many chances to show off to the community what middle school students can do and be. Teachers who have Montessori (AMS or AMI) 6-12 training and want to take the next step in their career are strongly encouraged to apply; there is an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for an incoming teacher to pursue Montessori secondary training.
