Lower Elementary Montessori Guide (Full-Time)

Acorn Montessori School, in beautiful Hunterdon County, NJ, is seeking a Lower Elementary Guide (grades 1–3) for the 2025–2026 school year. We welcome candidates with Upper Elementary training or experience, as our program thrives on flexibility, collaboration, and cross-level teaching.
This full-time, 10-month position is ideal for a Montessori-trained educator who is passionate about guiding the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a well-established, joyful school community.
Qualifications

AMS or AMI Elementary I (6–9) Certification required

Upper Elementary (9–12) training or experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree required

Prior Montessori classroom experience strongly preferred
