The Montessori School of Fort Smith is hiring a Lower Elementary Co-Teacher to begin in August 2026. This is a full-time position that operates on an academic calendar year (mid-August to mid-May).
The Montessori School of Fort Smith was established in 1969 by Sister Kevin Bopp at St. Scholastica Convent. It has operated as a 501c3 since 1989 and is governed by a board of directors consisting of parents and members of the larger Fort Smith community. We currently serve children ages 3-14. Our school population includes approximately 90 students and 11 full-time staff members. We are the only accredited Montessori school and non-sectarian school in our area.
Professional development is provided several times per year, including opportunities to attend the annual AMS conference. Candidates who love to learn and seek to grow professionally and personally will find this environment promotes and encourages those interests.
