The Assistant Head of School serves as a secondary leadership figure within the school and the local community. The Assistant Head of School will report directly to the Head of School, working collaboratively with him/her to create and enact their vision for the day to day operations of the school and the management of staff/faculty. The Assistant Head of School will assist the Head of School in tending to the issues that concern the school as a whole and will facilitate communication and build consensus among the teachers, staff, and families. The Assistant Head of School will be jointly responsible for continuing to support and encourage the preservation of the Montessori philosophy throughout the school. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Toddler or Primary Montessori Credential
- Experience as a School Administrator/Supervisory Role
- CPR and First Aid Certified
