The IWA Elementary Level is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team as full-time Montessori teachers for the 2021-2022 school year. The Montessori program encourages a child's natural curiosity and instills a life-long love of learning. It provides an environment that teaches respect, compassion, and responsibility for each other and for the environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and Montessori teacher certification.
Salaries are based on years of experience and educational degree. Faculty members are paid on the 16th day of each month for twelve months.
403 B RETIREMENT PLAN
Eligibility: Employees who work 30 hours or more are eligible for the plan
All eligible employees may make contributions through payroll tax deduction immediately.
Incarnate Word Academy provides a discretionary contribution (equal percentage for all employees) to a 403B Retirement Savings Plan with Christian Brother Retirement Services account for any employee who works 30 hours or more and has worked at IWA for at least three (3) years.
Generally, a participant may voluntarily contribute an even percentage point from 1% to 100% of pay into the Plan offset by any employer contribution to this Plan or any other defined contribution plan. The maximum salary deferral in one year is set annual by the IRS. Plan participants should contact Christian Brothers Investment Services for the annual maximum contribution allowed by the IRS.
Incarnate Word Academy agrees to provide an annual payment toward a portion of the health insurance premium for full-time faculty members who choose a plan(s) provided by the school.
Deductions for Social Security are made according to the current rate.
Deductions for withholding are made according to the indications of the employee on the Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate (Form W-4).
In accordance with Texas Law, Incarnate Word Academy provides insurance coverage for on- the-job injury. All employees of the school come under the provision of the Workers Compensation Insurance Program. All employees are required to report job related injuries to the school principal/supervisor immediately after the occurrence, if at all possible. All premiums are paid by Incarnate Word Academy.
