In search of a quality early childhood professional to provide floating support throughout our small school. Ideal candidates have previous experience in a Montessori (or other non-traditional) environment, have plenty of experience with toddler-age students (18-36 months) and a willingness to learn. We are a small, close-knit community with a very dedicated staff. Our school places a great deal of importance on experiences in nature--we have a 10 acre campus with a large children's garden, a pet rabbit, large playground area, low-ropes course, mud kitchen, open grassy fields and many more acres of wooded forest to explore. Children cook and bake in the in-classroom kitchen, enjoy a large indoor gross motor area complete with climbing, hanging, rocking, riding and jumping opportunities, they also participate in Yoga and Spanish Play 2x/wk. We'd love someone who feels passionately about all of these things to join our team and commit to our school for a minimum of 2 years. Compensation will be based upon experience, training and education. We are a half-day school but offer afternoon programming as well, so there is opportunity for part-time or full-time hours depending on candidate needs.
