We are looking for a talented, passionate, and energetic Head of School who will be responsible for leading, developing and managing all aspects of both the day-to-day operations and long-term goals for the school. The individual should strive to celebrate the legacy and greatness the school has achieved over the past 51 years and strive to inspire and invigorate our existing learning community for decades to come.
CHBC is a non-profit corporation led by a board of directors who appoints as the Head of School an educational leader with strong Montessori and early childhood educational and administrative experience. The Head of School is responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall operation and administration of the school. The Head of School's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- the admission process
- educational programs
- daily financial operations
- staff development
- personnel administration
- public relations
- parent relations
- facilities management
- records maintenance
- provide day-to day guidance and supervision to the Family and School Association (FSA)
- other duties as may be defined from time to time by the Board of Directors
The Head of School serves as an ex officio member of the Board of Directors and is expected to attend and report at every Regular and Special Meeting of the Board of Directors.
