Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Starling Montessori School is seeking caring, dependable, and Spanish-speaking Classroom Assistants to support our established Toddler and Primary programs. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions to join our growing Montessori community.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Montessori Guides in thriving classrooms rooted in respect, thoughtful preparation, and authentic practice. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children, value teamwork, and are committed to supporting children’s independence and development in a prepared bilingual environment.
About the Role
Classroom Assistants play a vital role in supporting Lead Guides and contributing to calm, orderly, and engaging classroom communities. Working closely with teachers and leadership, assistants help ensure consistency, safety, and high-quality care for children across programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Lead Guide in maintaining a beautiful, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and caregiving

Support children’s independence, concentration, language development, and social-emotional growth

Model respectful communication and grace & courtesy practices

Prepare materials, maintain classroom order, and assist with lesson support

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities

Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers to ensure consistency and teamwork

Build positive relationships with children and families — supporting communication in both Spanish and English
Education Requirements
- Bachelors Degree OR Current Enrollment in an Undergraduate Program
- Alternatively:
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Closely related feild
- OR CDA Credientals
Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish to support our bilingual classroom environments

Experience working with young children (Toddler and/or Primary experience preferred but not required)

Strong interest in Montessori education and child development

Patient, warm, reliable, and team-oriented

Ability to follow guidance while contributing positively to classroom culture
