NMS is currently seeking a part-time (no benefits) Volunteer Liaison to recruit and support volunteers to further the mission of the school, guiding them through the logistics of planning social events for families, school spirit activities for students, and staff appreciation efforts. The Volunteer Liaison will also work closely with the Admissions team to welcome new and prospective families to the school and participate in all-school activities and new program development. The position will begin in August 2019 and amount to approximately 8-12 hours per week. Attendance at occasional staff meetings and school events may be required.
The ideal candidate must have experience in recruiting volunteers, coordinating their work with the mission of the organization, and celebrating volunteer efforts; strong listening, public speaking, and writing communication skills; and be able to work highly flexible schedule. Experience in new program development is an asset. The candidate should be patient, flexible, professional, and dependable; have strong multi-tasking and administrative skills; and have the ability to collaborate with other members of our community to create a positive environment.
- This is a part-time position (no benefits) for the 2019-2020 school year.
- Work schedule is generally M-F, averaging 2-3 hours per day (schedule is still to be determined).
- Salary is competitive/commensurate with experience.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 professional references
- Bachelor's Degree or beyond in related field.
