Early Childhood Lead Guide

Parkside Community Montessori is currently hiring individuals to join our warm, collaborative educational team. As a proud American Montessori Society (AMS) verified school, Parkside is committed to authentic Montessori education and nurturing the growth of both children and educators.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a calm, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
• Assisting with preparing the learning environment (classroom setup, organization, and material preparation)
• Supervising children during work periods, outdoor play, and transitions
• Supporting children’s independence, social development, and emotional well-being
• Communicating positively and professionally with children, families, and staff
• Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
• Participating in community engagement activities such as Spring and Fall Festivals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree/training in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related discipline
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
• Montessori credential or a commitment to obtaining Montessori certification
• A passion for working with children and a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational experience for all students
