About Stream Montessori School

Stream Montessori School, located in Warren, New Jersey, is a growing Montessori community dedicated to nurturing the whole child through authentic Montessori education. We are seeking passionate, collaborative, and dedicated educators who are committed to supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development in a respectful and engaging learning environment.

Toddler Teacher (18 months–3 years)

We are seeking a nurturing and attentive Toddler Teacher to ensure the developmental and educational needs of our youngest students are met in a safe, prepared environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that support social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Foster independence and self-expression through positive guidance and reinforcement
• Support children’s basic needs, including feeding and toileting routines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
• Observe, document, and track student progress
• Communicate regularly with families regarding development and milestones
• Mediate conflicts and model appropriate behaviors
• Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and school events
  
  

Qualifications:

• Montessori Infant/Toddler credential preferred (AMS or MACTE-accredited training center preferred)
• Prior experience working with toddlers in a Montessori or early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of child development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A warm, patient, and professional demeanor
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
