In addition to the core qualifications, this individual must be a strong, clear communicator, adapt well to change, show flexibility, welcome collaboration, keep organized and complete records, and have knowledge of Colorado Content Standards and Montessori lessons designed to engage students in learning these skills. Core Qualifications for Instructional Teaching Positions
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Montessori Credential from a MACTE-Accredited Program
• Passing score on appropriate PLACE or Praxis II exam as accepted by the Colorado Department of Education, valid Colorado Teacher’s License Preferred
• Colorado Shines PDIS Level III or higher
• 3 Years Teaching Experience, Montessori Setting Preferred Successful candidates will bring an understanding of the relationship between curriculum, instruction, and assessment in supporting student achievement and growth, and demonstrate comfort and competence in utilizing technology to plan, record, and enhance student learning.
