Wellan Montessori School is currently hiring for a part time support / assistant teacher (Monday - Friday mornings, 20 hours per week) starting immediately. This position will work in our before school program, provide support for classroom teachers, and assist with front office administrative tasks and receptionist responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, reliable, outgoing, friendly, and excited to work in a collaborative team-teaching environment. This individual will possess strong communication, classroom management, and multi-tasking skills.
Monday - Friday: 7:15am - 11:15am (20 hrs/wk).
Academic year position available September - June, with option to extend for summer hours.
Occasional attendance at additional meetings and events outside of regular position hours may be required.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience working in a school or camp environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Letter of interest/cover letter, resume, and at least two references are required to be considered for this position.
