The Montessori Academy of Cape Cod is seeking warm, nurturing and enthusiastic lead qualified infant/toddler teachers and assistant teachers to join our seaside school community. The ideal candidates will have a passion for all facets of Montessori philosophy and have the experience/ability to implement the philosophy into all areas of the classroom. This includes the responsibility of honoring the children through guiding and directing them via the traditional Montessori lessons as well as the creation of original work, preparation of the classroom environment, and preparation of self (teacher). Teachers are also responsible for attending regular meetings and keeping accurate records. Excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to hold consideration for fellow colleagues, would be ideal. This position is available to both those who are well into the life cycle of the teacher as well as those who are just beginning.
The Montessori Academy of Cape Cod is a not-for-profit school that has been serving underprivileged and homeless children of Cape Cod and surrounding areas for 28 years. The Head of School is Montessori trained, is a Montessori Teacher Trainer, and is supportive of staff.
