About Us
The Montessori Education Center of the Rockies (MECR) is seeking thoughtful, values-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors during an exciting period of growth, renewal, and re-imagining.
Founded in 1978, MECR prepares educators to guide children with curiosity, dignity, and respect for human potential. Today, we are deepening that mission by strengthening governance, centering equity and belonging, and building a sustainable future for Montessori teacher education in Colorado and beyond.
This is a working Board for people who believe in education as liberation, community as a shared responsibility, and governance as a form of service.
