Our Vision: We strive to foster a nurturing environment where infants develop a sense of security, independence, and early social skills, supported by a bilingual Montessori education. The Role: We are seeking a new Head Teacher for our Infant classroom, serving children aged 3 months to 17 months. In this role, you will step into a well-established classroom and work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants who have been part of this nurturing environment for several years. Your mission will be to create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports our youngest learners.
What We’re Looking For:
- Montessori Expertise: Montessori Infant/Toddler credential preferred (Early Childhood Certification acceptable) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Infant/Toddler Montessori classroom preferred.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with bilingual abilities considered a plus!
- Passion for Education: A deep commitment to child-centered learning and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of infants, teachers, and the program.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and a respectful approach to diverse perspectives and ideas.
- Classroom Excellence: Ability to prepare and maintain a high-quality environment tailored to the needs of infants, document and assess their progress, and actively engage parents in their child's development.
