About Our School
Keystone Montessori School was founded in 1998 and is located in North Chelmsford Ma., 35 miles from downtown Boston and on the New Hampshire border. Our location offers the proximity to downtown Boston-hiking, skiing, and boating on New Hampshires pristine lakes and the picturesque historical New England towns as well as a very culturally diverse community. We have been at our current address for 13 years now and are located in an historic brick textile mill that we built out to be a Montessori school. With over 18,000 square feet we have 4 Children's House classrooms, 3 toddler classrooms, 2 infant classrooms, and Upper and Lower Elementary. We also have a large kitchen, library, art room and an expansive playground that offers separate play areas for the 3 program levels. We have Montessori teacher trained administration and were founded upon the premise that a Montessori School is the most successful if it's leadership is Montessori teacher trained. We hope to expand in the future with a middle school. We currently have 140 students.
