Full Job Description
Our Starwood Academy of Frisco campus is actively searching for a Credentialed Montessori Upper Elementary Guide to meet the needs of our growing school. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about children, naturally connects with others, and has a growth mindset. Join our safe and caring environment!
Requirements:
- AMS, AMI or other MACTE Credential
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Must pass criminal history/background check
- Open to feedback and looking to learn and grow
- Childcare experience preferred
Skills and Qualifications
- Follow Texas childcare licensing requirements while instructing class
- Utilizing effective classroom management skills
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom
- Experience working in Upper Elementary environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and commitment to working in a team atmosphere
- Comfortable with technology (i.e. emails, electronic record keeping, Google Apps, etc)
