Sandwich Montessori School is Growing!

Sandwich Montessori School is an independent birth through Grade 6 Montessori School located in Sandwich, MA on beautiful Cape Cod. It has a student population of approximately 100 students, 15 employees, and we are growing! 

At Sandwich Montessori School our practices help develop kinder, braver, stronger human beings and we are seeking an experienced Lower Elementary teacher to teach in our multi-age elementary classroom (grades 1–6) beginning in August 2024.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized curriculum and lessons to support Sandwich Montessori School’s mission and objectives.
• Maintain a prepared classroom environment in a multi-age setting
• Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and use those observations to record and plan future lessons.
• Develop meaningful and lasting bonds with the children and families with a focus on family-school partnerships.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities.

Strong Candidates Will Have: 

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Completed and earned training from an accredited Montessori Training Program
• Minimum three years’ experience
• Willingness to collaborate, contribute and grow our Elementary program
• Be passioned about both Montessori and our students/children.
