South Walton Montessori Academy is seeking a full time Co-Teacher, Assistant, or Intern to work in the Toddler classroom beginning in the fall of 2025. Applicant does not necessarily need to be certified for this position. The Lead teacher has over 19 years experience teaching in our Toddler class and would be happy to Co-Teach with a Certified candidate, or train an Assistant.The ideal candidate will be positive, dependable and dedicated to the Montessori philosophy. We are looking for someone that is peaceful and self motivated. The Assistant/Co Teacher should have the ability to form close relations with staff, parents and students. South Walton Montessori Academy is located along the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches in the panhandle of Florida. We have approximately 80 students from 18 months up through 8th grade. 9 out of 11 of our teachers are Montessori Certified, and we all have a sincere passion for Montessori Education. Our non-profit school is designed to nurture the development of the whole child through creative discovery and interaction with teachers, peers, and materials. We believe in preparing an enthusiastic environment that will nurture the growing child. Our curriculum fosters intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development and prepares our children to be global citizens.
