Winfield Children's House has an opening for a credentialed Montessori teacher to work in our Accredited Montessori Preschool program in one of our 3-6 classrooms beginning with the 2024-25 school year.
The position requires a thoughtful, nurturing, conscientious teacher who has worked with young children, and is passionate about Early Childhood education. This could be an ideal position for a newly credentialed teacher building experience, or one looking for a practicum site to complete their credential, as well as a home for an experienced Montessori teacher looking to work in a community dedicated to a robust Montessori education for all of our children.
You will be part of a classroom team with another credentialed Montessori teacher, and part of the wider Winfield community made up of two Toddler classrooms for children 16 months through 3 years, and four Early Childhood classrooms, for children 3-6 years old. Our full-time Outdoor Educator and Art teachers round out our talented and caring teaching staff.
This position is full-time and can be either school year or year-round; during the summer months, a smaller nature and art camp is offered to our enrolled students. Starting in the summer ahead of the 2024-25 school year is a possibility as well.
