Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori toddler lead guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori principles and a commitment to guiding toddlers through their critical early years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years).
- Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment that promotes independence, exploration, and a love of learning.
- Observe and assess each child’s development and progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating regularly with parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to foster a cohesive learning community and ensure a holistic approach to education.
- Encourage social skills, emotional growth, and self-discipline through positive reinforcement and respectful guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared classroom with appropriate materials for Montessori learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay informed about the latest in Montessori education.
Qualifications:
- Montessori teaching certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) for toddlers preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working with toddlers in a Montessori setting or similar educational environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with young children and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
