Primary Co-Teacher

Kay responsibilities:

• Collaboratively plan and deliver engaging lessons that underpin the Vision, Mission and Values of Somersfield Academy
• Inspire students to uphold high academic & social standards
• Establish clear and consistent classroom routines to ensure a focused, safe & caring environment
• Embrace the school's commitment to diversity, participating in all diversity-based initiatives

Applicants must have the following skills and experience:

• Proven ability to nurture positive relationships between teachers, students and parents
• Proficiency in curriculum programs, particularly numeracy snd literacy
• Strong classroom management skills and an ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and others
• Minimum of three (3) years teaching in Primary/Elementary classrooms
• International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme training at a minimum Category 2 level
