Position: Admissions and Marketing Director

Type: Part-time (25 hours per week; hours 8am-1pm Monday - Friday)

 

Responsibilities

Admissions and Enrollment

  • Manage inquiries and applications, handle admissions calls, document details 
  • Prepare Admissions packets and schedule and carry out tours 
  • Manage/maintain waitlists
  • Work with Administration team on contracts
  • Manage enrollment process and document status 
  • Create, manage and maintain student files throughout year

Marketing 

  • Create yearly social media plan, including creating posts/content and managing the school’s social media accounts
  • Maintain and update MCHVF website
  • Assist/manage Google Ads
  • Manage any marketing campaigns/partnerships
  • Assist with writing and preparation of marketing and communication materials, including event fliers, camp brochure, internal newsletters, advertisements, articles

Other Responsibilities

  • Create photographic class lists and manage family photographs
  • Create and manage yearbook
  • Work with Administration to help organize and prepare for school wide events and meetings
  • Assist Head of School with fundraising communications/activities as needed
  • Help with office tasks, such as greeting parents at the door, manning the phones, wrapping books, ordering food as needed for meetings, help compiling student packets, and other tasks as assigned by Head of School
  • Assist with lunch coverage 
  • Assist with temporary coverage for other staff members in the classroom, at recess, or at arrival/dismissal times as requested 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in related field (i.e. Education, Marketing) preferred
  • Montessori certification or experience preferred
  • Experience in working in a school setting with young children preferred
  • Child care clearances, including Child Abuse, Fingerprinting report, Criminal Background check, and CPR/First Aid certification required
  • Two letters of references required

  • Ability to work with diverse populations that include parents, prospective families, students, staff, external consultants, and caregivers
  • Possesses strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office, G Suite (Google); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or related tools a plus
