Early Childhood Lead Teacher
Overview:
Bozeman Summit School is searching for our next loving Early Childhood Lead Teacher. Our Montessori school focuses on the whole child, encouraging social/emotional development as well as excellence in academics. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum using the Montessori method
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
Qualifications:
- Lead teachers are required to have a four-year college degree
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in teaching early childhood, Montessori certification required
- Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid
- Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
