Join the teaching team in our Montessori program at The Montessori House School. in Tenafly, NJ. We have openings available to join our permanent faculty, to start anytime between now and the start of the 2024-25 school year: start now, in June for our summer session, or in late August for school year 2024-25.
We're seeking FULL-TIME teachers (8 a.m. - 4 p.m., M-F).
Our most successful teachers love younger children, enjoy creating works, are flexible, want to work as part of a team, and are keen to provide students a true Montessori education. Appropriate AMS Early Childhood credential required (or AMI equivalent). Substantial teaching experience in an AMS Pathway school (Verified Member or Accredited) preferred. We are an AMS Verified Member school.
Teaching staff have the opportunity to work in our summer program, as well as the academic year.
Must have permission to work in the United States. Must be fluent in English. Must be prepared to submit to background check as required by NJ DCF OOL. Must demonstrate command of the full range of Montessori works found in the Early Childhood classroom.
