As an outreach of Saint Christopher’s Episcopal Church, St. Christopher’s Montessori School is dedicated to providing an inclusive, loving, Christ-centered environment that promotes an exceptional early childhood experience. SCMS believes in fostering the development of the whole child in which each child can learn and grow mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually. Following Montessori curriculum, SCMS strives to create an environment that encourages and provides the following:
The school year runs from Aug to May, with optional summer camps in June and July. Part-time and full-time positions available. 10 PTO days for full-time employees on salary. All employees (20+hours/week) are eligible for pension benefits (5% with another 4% matched). Optional health and dental insurance available and paid 50% by the employer. Paid vacations after the 90-day probationary period (1 week at Thanksgiving, 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Spring Break). 2 full weeks of paid in-service trainings (one week in August and one week in May).
