Founded in 2012, St Augustine Public Montessori School is part of the prestigous St Johns County School District, serving approximately 170 students aged three through twelve. St. Augustine, “America’s oldest city,” is a blend of historic sites, great restaurants, eclectic shopping, and breathtaking nature. Wide unspoiled beaches provide year round opportunities for outdoor recreation. The city offers many livable island/marsh communities all within biking distance of the ocean and a vibrant downtown. St. Augustine is less than an hour from Jacksonville and Daytona Beach and two hours away from Orlando.
We are currently seeking an Early Childhood educator to begin in August 2025 for the hours between 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be committed to life-long learning, and a demonstrate a growth mindset. Candidates should have experience working with children at the early childhood level (ages 3-6 years), hold a Montessori Certification at the 3-6 level from an AMS or MACTE approved training program, a current Florida State Teaching Certification and DCF staff credential..
