We are a small private Montessori school serving students from 18M to 9 years old. We are looking for a Pre-Primary classroom assistant to work closely with our 18M to 36M students (1:5). Duties as our Montessori Classroom Assistant shall include supporting the Montessori philosophy, cooperating with classroom teachers to ensure the readiness of the environment each day, assisting classroom teachers in maintaining peace in the environment, giving lessons, and instructing students in the assigned classrooms. Duties also include tasks assigned to you by the Director of School which may include, but not be limited to, attending staff meetings, attending parent/teacher meetings and conferences, attending meetings requested by parents or the administration, planning, presenting and/or attending educational and community-building functions, working at carpool as necessary, attending school events and activities, following rules and procedures based on school policy, and such other duties as may from time to time be assigned.
