Bergen-Lafayette Montessori School is seeking a dedicated Head Teacher for our Infant classroom (3 months to 17 months) starting Fall 2025. Join our vibrant, diverse community and help shape the educational journey of our youngest learners in a bilingual Montessori environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and nurture our infant students (up to 12 children) with the support of seasoned assistants.

  • Prepare and maintain a Montessori classroom environment.

  • Document and assess children’s progress.

  • Collaborate with a supportive team and engage with parents.

Qualifications:

  • Montessori Infant/Toddler credential (or Early Childhood certification).

  • 3+ years of experience in an Infant/Toddler Montessori setting (preferred).

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

  • Passion for child-centered learning and teamwork.
