Half-Day Assistant

Lakewood Montessori School (lmschool.org) is a small, private, not-for-profit program. We are AMS-affiliated and have been serving the Lakewood and Park Cities area of Dallas, Texas for 25 years. Children 2½ to 6 years old benefit from this beautiful authentic environment, complete with materials as Dr. Montessori intended. 

We are seeking a half-day assistant, Monday-Friday 11:30-3:30, for immediate hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• College hours preferred
• Experience in early childhood education preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of Montessori materials
• Assist in cleaning the environment
• Assist the children while they work
• Oversee lunchtime and playground time

Compensation

$19/hr

Competitive depending on experience and credentials
