Eagle Montessori Teaching Academy (EMTA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Infant & Toddler Level Coordinator to begin in May 2026. This part-time role (5-10 hours/week), compensated with a monthly salary, is responsible for overseeing and supporting the training and development of adult learners in our Infant & Toddler credential program. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy for early childhood, and a passion for mentoring and guiding adult students on their journey to becoming skilled Montessori educators.

Your Role…. 

As the Montessori Infant & Toddler Course Level Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Infant/Toddler course level including the development of the Infant & Toddler curriculum.
  • Maintaining standards required for accreditation and affiliation through MACTE and AMS for the EMTA Infant & Toddler program.
  • Work closely with the EMTA Program Director, Instructors, Field Consultants, and Adult Learners. 
  • Building connections with Montessori community members.
  • Continuously recognize and develop plans to address content gaps in the EMTA Infant & Toddler Program.
  • Developing and executing program offerings under the guidance of the EMTA Program Director.
  • Managing, strategizing, and prioritizing AMS Infant & Toddler training programs for EMTA.
  • Assessing, evaluating, and supporting faculty members. 

The Essentials… 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. College/University or its equivalent.  If the degree is from a regionally accredited college/university outside of the U.S., a transcript must be submitted to a U.S. credentialing agency for credit evaluation.  If the evaluation determines that the non-U.S. transcript is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the U.S., the requirement will be met.
  • Hold a MACTE Montessori Infant & Toddler credential.
  • 30 hours of continuing professional development for the last three years.
  • Professional experience in the last 5 years.  Examples include letters of recommendation, examples of curriculum development, publications, professional presentations.
  • At least three years of consistent teaching experience with children in a Montessori classroom after receiving the credential at the level the coordinator represents.
  • Experience teaching adults, educational administration, and curriculum development.
  • Current AMS Membership.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments with attention to details.
  • Experience managing others while developing a strong sense of team.
  • Proficiency with computer and web skills, including but not limited to G-Suite, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Schoology (PowerSchool).
  • Significant experience managing complex projects.
