What you will do:

  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans based on the curriculum sequence 
  • Prepare and maintain the learning environment
  • Implement classroom systems to foster independence and executive functioning skills
  • Facilitate student inquiry by guiding students in identifying and developing research questions
  • Design and implement projects that bring lessons to life
  • Connect learning to real-world issues and challenges
  • Foster a classroom culture that values creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration
  • Encourage student voice and choice in the learning process
  • Foster social interaction and collaboration among students
  • Encourage respectful communication and conflict resolution

Candidate Requirements:

  • Montessori experience or certification
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degrees
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as lead teacher
