We are in the process of opening a small school and require an administrator to oversee the school operations and periodically fill in within the classrooms. 

It is an exciting time to join us, as you would be heavily involved in the design and setup of all aspects of the school.   This would be a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned and highly educated teacher looking to move into an administrative role.

Description:  Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring the implementation of the Montessori Philosophy and curriculum, managing the staff, maintaining positive parent relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulations while fostering and nurturing a supportive environment.

This role would be forward-facing and critical to the school's success. It will be a lot of work, but the right individual will find it fun and rewarding!!

Curriculum Leadership:

  •  Develop and implement a comprehensive Montessori curriculum aligned with age-appropriate developmental stages and AMS standards.
  • Oversee lesson planning and ensure teachers are effectively utilizing Montessori materials and practices
  • Monitor student progress and provide support to teachers for individual student needs.

 Staff Management:

  •  Hire, train, and supervise Montessori-certified teachers and staff.
  • Conduct regular observations and provide feedback to teachers on their classroom practices
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment among the staff

 Parent Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication, conferences, and parent education programs.
  • Effectively communicate school policies, curriculum, and student progress to parents.
  • Foster a collaborative partnership with parents to support their child's learning.

 Administrative Duties:

  • Manage the school budget and financial operations with the Founder
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding childcare and education 
  • Manage admissions process, including student enrollment and evaluations 
  • Oversee facility maintenance and safety protocols 

Required Qualifications:

  •  Montessori Certification: A valid Montessori teaching credential from a recognized organization like the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience as a Montessori classroom teacher in various age groups
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of educators
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with parents, staff, and community members

 Hours:                 Weekday Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; however, that may change based upon the school's needs.  

Start Date:                  August 18, 2025, with School anticipated to open in October 2025 based on current construction projections.
