Children’s House Montessori is seeking a full-time responsible Toddler and Primary teachers with at least 3 years experience and a CDA or equivalent starting immediately.
Responsibilities:- implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote literacy education, physical education, and overall child development.- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the preschool program.- Plan and lead engaging activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional growth.- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed.- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and discipline.- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the program.- Adhere to all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is required.- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and curriculum development.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of young learners.- Understanding of behavior management techniques appropriate for preschool-aged children.- Familiarity with child welfare regulations and procedures.- Experience working with students with special needs or in a special education setting is a plus.
