Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Montessori education, a passion for child development, and leadership experience in an educational setting. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the school's vision, support staff and students, and play a key role in the administration and growth of the school. This job requires strong computer, accounting and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence.
· Assist the Director in overseeing daily school operations and ensuring alignment with Montessori principles.
· Support and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
· Foster a positive school culture that reflects the values of Gateway Montessori School.
· Assist with enrollment, parent communication, and community engagement.
· Maintain compliance with state licensing and Montessori accreditation standards.
· Support curriculum development and classroom implementation.
· Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and school planning.
Utilize additional skills such as accounting, office management, gardening, or music to enhance the school environment.
