MCA is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Head Teacher. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelors degree, as well as a Montessori credential from an accredited AMS training center. Candidates must have experience working within a 2 1/2 to 6 and/or a 3 - 6 classroom and have a thorough understanding of the Montessori philosophy. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a warm and caring manner with children and parents, as well as be enthusiastic thinkers, hardworking team players, and strong, effective communicators. The candidate must be an excellent preparer of the classroom environment to meet the academic needs of all students. The candidate is skilled at taking observational notes on the children and can communicate to the parents the growth of each child throughout the school year.
