Job Summary:
All Day Montessori is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Montessori community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children aged 2 to 3 years. The Lead Toddler Teacher will guide students in accordance with Montessori principles, fostering independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. All Day Montessori does sponser teachers to receive Montessori training.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain a Montessori-prepared environment that promotes independence and hands-on learning.
- Guide children through Montessori lessons, encouraging their natural curiosity and development.
- Observe and assess each child’s growth and progress, documenting developmental milestones.
- Foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive classroom community.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates, conferences, and progress reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in professional development and school events as required.
Qualifications:
- Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE-accredited) for Infant/Toddler (0-3) preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a toddler classroom, preferably in a Montessori setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- 9 Credit Hours in Early Childhood Education required
- Strong understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
