Lead Directress

We are looking for a full time teacher responsible for teaching children in either 1) ages 2 - 3 years, or 2) 3 - 6 years starting July 2025. Our school is located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. These individuals must meet the expectations for delivering exceptional teaching and customer service to families enrolled at the school.

Lead teacher qualifications:
• AMS or AMI Montessori Infant or Primary Certificate (depending on which position you are interested in) - Bachelor's degree required; Can start July 2025. Only Montessori Certified Applicants will be considered for these positions.
• 3-5 years of teaching experience with a combination of infant, toddler, or preschool teaching experience preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, supervisory, and customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with families and children.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and work schedules.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Must meet state educational and licensing requirements for Lead Teacher; additional Center/school requirements may apply.

We will prefer you over other candidates if you have:

• Experience teaching within a early childhood education setting.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin) language fluency preferred
