Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Montessori Teacher to join our team starting September 2025.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and methodologies,
along with a genuine love for working with young children. This position offers the opportunity to make
a meaningful impact on the lives of children during their crucial formative years.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum in a nurturing and supportive classroom
environment.
2. Create and maintain a prepared Montessori environment conducive to the optimal development of
each child.
3. Foster independence, self-discipline, and a love of learning among students.
4. Observe and assess individual childrens progress, maintaining accurate records of their
development and achievements.
5. Plan and lead engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social,
emotional, and physical growth.
6. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the holistic
development of each child.
7. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at
all times.
8. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast
of best practices in early childhood education and Montessori methodology.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
2. Montessori certification (AMI/AMS/MACTE) for the appropriate age group (3-6 years).
3. Previous experience working in a Montessori classroom setting preferred.
4. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood
education.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with children,
parents, and colleagues.
6. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
7. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of individual children.
8. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning.
