Job Summary:

Our International Montessori school is seeking an experienced certified Lower Elementary Lead Teacher who is passionateabout fostering a love of learning for children aged 6 to 9 years old. As the Lead Guide, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, guiding students in their academic, social, and emotional development, and maintaining effective communication with parents while working alongside our Administration Team.

Job Requirements:

  • Montessori Certification for Lower Elementary (ages 6-9) is required
  • Montessori Certification for Upper Elementary (ages 9-12) is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Montessori Lower Elementary Lead Guide
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for Montessori education
  • Commitment to personal and professional development

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligning with Montessori philosophy and curriculum for Lower Elementary
  • Guide students in academic, social, and emotional development
  • Create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment fostering independence and creativity
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress and regularly communicate with parents and our administration team
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide events and activities
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with developments in Montessori education
