Pinewoods Montessori School is a small non-profit founded in 1992 in Hillsborough, North Carolina. It has always been the mission of the school to uphold the traditional principles of the Montessori philosophy, maintain academic excellence, and to make Montessori education as accessible to as many families as possible. Pinewoods Montessori School is located just a short drive from the larger surrounding communities of Chapel Hill and Durham.
