Palisades Montessori is a Montessori preschool in the Palisades community of Washington, DC. Palisades Montessori will carry on the 30-year history of Barbara's Montessori School, founded in 1984 by Barbara Allan who is retiring in June 2013. Palisades Montessori is a fully-licensed child development center within the DC Public Schools system and follows all DCPS schedules and guidelines. Our large, sunny facility is located inside a private home at 2828 Hurst Terrace NW.
Palisades Montessori is a warm, loving, home-based preschool for two-, three- and four-year-old students. Palisades Montessori's students interact with each other in mixed age groups in the school's classroom and playground.
